The double twist (double yarn) makes the fabric stronger, less prone to wrinkling, and of better quality.

Double twisted shirts (unlike blended cotton shirts) feature:

-Collar stays

-Reinforcement gusset

-Mother-of-pearl buttons with cross stitching

-2 back darts for better comfort

Several fabrics:

-Plain white (twill)

-Stripe (poplin)

-Blue with contrasting collar (white) in twill

The cut is wide and loose, as at the beginning of the 20th century.
