Two-ply (double thread) makes the fabric stronger, less prone to wrinkling, and of better quality.

Two-ply shirts (unlike blended cotton shirts) feature:

-Collar stays

-Gussets

-Mother-of-pearl buttons with cross stitching

-2 back pleats for better comfort

Fabric: 

-Plain white (twill)

The cut is wide and loose, as in the early 20th century.
