Extremely rare 1960s bespoke wool check suit

Good evening

I am offering this extremely rare 1960s bespoke suit in grey with red checks, made of thick wool.

The fabric is thick and heavy, perfect for winter and mid-season.

In addition, the jacket is fully canvassed for better durability (full canvas, traditional canvas)

The buttonholes on the jacket are functional.

The jacket is a two-button jacket with generous notched lapels.
The trousers, meanwhile, are wide-legged and high-waisted.

In very good condition, only the jacket lining is yellowed at the armpits.

Assume that you will need to tailor the jacket (reduce armpit, waist and hip width) and reduce the size of the pants.
These are almost systematic alterations in order to be able to wear the suit.

Jacket measurements:

Shoulder width (measured across the back of the jacket, seam to seam): 45m
Sleeve length: 62cm + 3cm to extend
Jacket length: 77cm
Armpit width: 53cm
Waist width: 52cm

Pants measurements:

Width at the waist: 45cm
Fork height: 30cm
Leg opening: 22cm
Trouser length: 106 cm + 5 cm if the cuff is removed
