The custom-made heavyweight fabric was developed to recreate the thick, luxurious coats of the era, offering both authenticity and exceptional comfort.

This long double-breasted coat features classic peak lapels, a pleated action back for greater ease of movement, and a martingale belt at the back. The heavy fabric has a soft, brushed finish that provides excellent insulation while maintaining a refined look:

1. Exceptional softness: Alpaca is much softer to the touch than standard sheep's wool. Adding just 20% more alpaca gives the fabric a silky finish and makes it less prickly against the skin.
2. Superior warmth: Weight for weight, alpaca fiber is warmer than sheep's wool because it is hollow, giving it remarkable natural insulating properties.
3. Shine and Texture: Alpaca often brings a slight natural shine and a slightly more "hairy" or fluffy texture, which can be seen in the visual of your midnight blue coat.
