We've all had that moment of doubt when choosing a belt.
Should you rely on the overall length? What if you get the wrong size? Don't panic! Choosing the right belt is actually very simple, once you know the right trick.
Contrary to popular belief, belt size is not the total length. It is measured from one specific point to another to ensure a perfect fit. Belt size (e.g., 90 cm) is actually the distance measured from the end of the buckle to the center hole.
Here is the simplest and most effective method to ensure you never make a mistake.
Measure your waistline!
- Put on the pants you plan to wear the belt with.
- Use a soft tape measure to measure your waistline, passing it directly through the trouser loops.
- Write down the measurement in centimeters. This is the number you will use as a reference!
This measurement will determine the belt size you need. For example, if your waist is 93 cm, choose a size 95 belt. If your waist is 88 cm, choose a size 90.
It's that simple! You now have all the keys to finding the perfect belt that will perfectly complement your look.
